Nothing yet?

So till now we have heard nothing new for Final Fantasy 14 :cry:. I am not looking for rumors or theories, I want something they actually released. When do you think they will actually release any topics about Final Fanatasy 14?

Its most likely that we wont get much till TGS in September. :/

Yeah, I wish they left us with a bit more to speculate on before the TGS.

They should be releasing a lot more information once FFXIII is released, but if it is true that FFXIV is getting released in 2010, then yeah, a lot more information will be released later this year.

but yeah, hopefully at the Gamescom (formerly known as Leipzig) we'll get more info on FFXIV, as well as FFXIII.

Ever since I found out Uematsu was doing the entire soundtrack I digged out my Black Mages albums, been listeneing to them to stop the soul-crushing emptiness that is officially released news.

Yeah I've been looking around for more news too. Looks like the Mods here got it locked down though. Saves us all the trouble of searching it out. One stop shoppin, gotta love it!

So what do you guys make of the newly released full E3 interview? Who reckons they know what the secret message in the trailer is?

I just watched it again and got nothing. Other than maybe the different landscapes. Land, Air and Water. Don't really know what to make of it though.

Notice how the enemies cant run through the magic barrier on the deck of the ship? it seems to be a movement barrier aswell as damage, they said the fighting was made using the game engine so thats a cool feature.

I see flying vehicle PvP, gogo summoners!!

Theres the chocobo near the end walking alongside them, carrying stuff, possible summonable item storage?

Ill give it another watch tomorrow, see if anything else comes up.

It seems from it, you can notice their giving more mobility to the characters. Makes my heart melt. But, I doubt those flying machines will be from the summoner.

nono sorry, I was referring to the creatures flying around the flying machines, look a bit like bahamut, summoner's own "vehicle" perhaps?

Yeah between the "flying sticks" the dragons attacking them and the Leviathan looking creature over the ship they've teased us with plenty to speculate on that's for sure.

I was wondering will they be using the same graphics or approved ones?

most of the trailer is made with the engine so Id say its the graphics they'll use, at least for the PC, they may have to lower the quality for the PS3 to handle but not by much.

No need to lower the settings for PS3s, those things have better graphics cards and processor than any home computer. But yeah, Square have said that they will be using the top specs for the time so I assume the graphics can only be getting better.

thats good to know, ps3 can only kick out 1080p though, 1900x1080 resolution through plasma screen, PC monitors can go much higher + graphics cards can outclass the PS3 quite far, its good they say it can still keep up.

I expect square to push the envelope as much as they can with FFXIV the same way they did with FFVII on the playstation or FFX on playstation 2.

Yes they do. Plus they seem to be wanting to take the idea of MMO's to the next level. Which is a good thing of course. The website keeps getting updated lately. So far they seem to be on a good track.
