Final Fantasy XI Companions

While waiting for FFXIV, I've decided to pick up FFXI again, what server does anyone play on? Is no fun alone haha

Im thinking of going Black mage this time, used to be white.

I did the same thing, haha. I played on my old server--Lakshmi--and let me tell you, after years of WoW, FFXI seems sooooo slow.... but it felt so nice to just take a stroll through Windurst and out into Sarutabaruta ...until a Savanna Rarab murdered me.

haha typical, ye I know its gonna be a culture shock from WoW, but I still remember it fondly

I hated those Savanna Rarabs when I was low level. I dont play anymore but there are still some great players on Midgardsormr and if I remember, on Bahamut ^^

Yory I'm about to get back started on FFXI as well. Probably tomorrow night. I'll be starting as WHM then maybe Blue. Let me know what server you join and if it's any count I'll be there. Would be good to know someone ingame starting off.

Come on ahead! Been playing for a couple days and level 10 already w/decent gear. Plus Sunbreeze Fest is going on now. We love the fireworks! Server Lakshmi, Nation, Windurst. It was 4am when I thought the name up and at the time it made me laugh my balls off. Plus it seems that every name under the damn sun has been taken already in FFXI.

edit: I've decided I can't do this again. I made it to level 5 and there was no pleasure in it. I mean I know in about a year I'm going to be putting time in a superior game (hopefully). FFXI is just so dated looking and due to my hours not many people are on our server. I've paid until Aug 31st so I might drop on a few more times before it expires.
