Re: testing, testing...
Howdy all, guess I'd better rattle on for a bit here.
I cant wait for FFXIV to come out, unfortunately its gonna be no time soon...
so I've been killing time at home during the summer, watching anime, programming, pizza and cheetos.
I never got into FFXI much, it was the game I didnt bother much with, I played for a while but I felt it wasnt quite ready for prime-time and left it at that. Now FFXIV is coming out I see this as a second chance for me, and a good one by the looks of the trailers but I digress.
I am currently studing at Sunderland University for Msc Computing (fun i know), just got a developer job with Sunderland Council for my placement year, starts on the 18th August.
I listen to every genre of music imaginable so my opinions on music are very much the same, although I do have some favourites.
I've been watching the Mac-lands for a while now and have determined that next April would be the best time for me to invest in a Macbook pro, the desktops are not worth looking at, the best mac pro doesnt beat the specs of my £700 (self built) PC and is £5,700 I'm sorry but a performance loss and £5,000 aint worth an operating system.
In my boredom lately I have learned Actionscript 3.0 and have been working onn a bunch of little projects for newgrounds, just to pass the time...
what is everyone else up to?
btw, Im loving the new series of melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. wooo

Re: testing, testing...
Greetings Yoruichi! Congratulations on the new gig. I didn't play much FFXI either. About a couple of months in all. My life took a really good turn shortly thereafter and it's just now leveling out enough for me to get back into gaming. I was looking around for a new MMO and heard about FFXIV then found the site. I have a pretty intense job so having a "fantastic" distraction is definitely a plus for me.
